Today is Alyssa's 8th birthday. She has gotten so big so fast.
We took Bradley for his 4 month old check up. He weighed 13 lbs 1.5 oz, in the 25% on his weight. He is 50% on his head and height. He is finally good on his weight. He can have solids 3 times a day. His ulcer is gone and his rash looks like heat rash.
This evening Alyssa and Noah are leaving for their summer visitation with their father. They have never been gone for a month before so this will be different for me. I am going to miss them like crazy. Alyssa and I agreed we will Skype. Noah likes the idea cause I can still read him bedtime stories.

Happy Birthday Alyssa
I can not believe my oldest baby is turning 8 this week, wow where has the time gone. This past weekend we celebrated her birthday with friends and family. This year she wanted an ice cream themed party and that was just what she had. With the help of Adam and my parents I was much less stressed and had everything ready an hour before the party started. I even made all the decorations including the banner, labels for all the food, holders for the cupcakes, centerpiece for the table, hanging ice cream cones and the cupcakes. She always has water activities at her party. This year we had water balloons, water guns and the sprinkler. Thanks to everyone who came she was very happy with her birthday.
Learning
This summer I made a list of things I wanted all of the kids to learn.
How to spell their full name.
Their full birthday.
My phone number.
Adam's phone number.
Our address.
How to tie their shoe.
How to ride their bikes without training wheels.
Now they all know almost all of it.
Adam and I spent about 15 minutes helping them ride their bikes without training wheels and they all had it. Now they don't want to ride their scooters.
Taylor knew how to tie her shoe but Alyssa and Noah did not. I spent about 10 minutes with them today and now they can all do it.
Watching the expressions on their faces when they learn how to do something is so sweet. I love it!!

Magic Balloons
Today I took the kids to the event at the library. It was a man telling stories using balloon animals. He had kids volunteer for each story. At first my kids didn't want to volunteer but once they saw how much fun it was they all volunteered. Taylor was a mouse in one story. Alyssa was a hippo and Noah was a sheep in another story.

Relaxing
We started out the summer trying to do something fun everyday which was a bad idea. It ended up with more whining, fussing & fighting than anything. Now we are spending more time relaxing and being lazy.
Today was a pretty rainy day. So for the most part the kids just laid around and watched movies.

VBS
This week I haven't felt very well so we have stayed at home during the day and the kids have gone to VBS in the evenings. They have loved it! I am so glad we are getting back into going to church again and it makes me so happy to know all of the kids like it. I wish I had a picture of the girls singing during worship. Noah is a little more hesitate but I think VBS has helped that. I was asked about going to church on Wednesday nights and I've been asked about Sunday School. It's amazing how God helps with what you need in your life and your children's lives when you let him.
June 3rd
I have been slacking the last few days on my post so here is to trying to catch up.
Saturday me and Adam took Taylor to Splash Pad and Mimi met us there. She had a lot of fun playing with Adam in the water and the playground was opened so she got to play on it too. She saw a moth and had to catch it. She was so cute showing me her "butterfly". Adam and I stayed till Bradley got fussy then we took him home and Taylor spent some time with Mimi.

First Day of Summer
So yesterday was the first day of summer and compared to spring burrrrr!!! We didn't do much during the day, we ran some errands, the kids played and I did some work.
After Alyssa and Noah went to Chris's me, Taylor and Bradley went outside to swim. I was hoping the water would be warm enough for Bradley to get in but it was so windy that it was too cold for him to get in. Taylor played for a while, then we went inside, changed into our pjs, cuddled up on the couch and Taylor played the wii till bedtime.
